A Texas-based Tesla Cybertruck owner reports that a massive tree trunk fell directly onto his truck, yet left it entirely unharmed. Tom jokes the tree challenged his Cybertruck, but the tree was defeated in the end.

Tom had parked his Cybertruck next to a tree at a commercial building and went inside for an appointment. During his meeting, his Cybertruck sent him a couple of alerts, but he didn’t think much of them. When he got out, he was surprised to find a massive tree trunk on top of his Cybertruck.

Incident Details

Tom was concerned when he saw the large tree trunk on his Cybertruck, but to his surprise, it didn’t damage the vehicle at all. He initially noticed a few scratches, but after wiping down his vehicle, it was pristine. Tom says he didn’t even bother talking to the parking lot owner and simply pushed the tree trunk off his Cybertruck and went on with his day.

Tom shared his experience on the Cybertruck Owners Club forum, saying, “A tree tried to pick a fight with my Cybertruck today… While I was out at an appointment, my Cybertruck sent me two alerts: an alarm trigger and suspicious activity warning.” He also shared several pictures and a video of the incident, which shows a gust of wind shaking a tree next to the Cybertruck and a massive trunk crashing down onto it at high speed.

Reactions from Fellow Owners

Fellow Cybertruck owners were impressed by the truck’s durability, with one owner from Washington writing, “The Cybertruck’s damage resistance is its most underrated feature. That right there would have caused thousands of dollars in damage to a legacy 1/2-ton truck, requiring dent repair and repainting to match.”

Conclusion of the Incident

Not all Cybertruck owners have been as fortunate, however. For instance, another owner experienced an accident and, despite $63,000 in repairs, the truck still isn’t working properly, with the owner noting that it has been deemed ready 7 times. This contrast highlights the varying experiences of Cybertruck owners and the importance of considering multiple perspectives when evaluating the vehicle’s performance.
